Our Why

Why Dala Health Hub Exists

At Dala Health Hub, we believe that healthcare should not be a privilege reserved for those who can afford it.

Across our communities, many vulnerable patients delay seeking medical attention because of financial challenges. Some live with illnesses that could have been detected and managed earlier, while others remain in hospital for weeks or even months because they cannot afford to settle their medical bills.

We also see families facing the painful reality of being unable to clear maternity and children's hospital bills. In some cases, mothers and families become overwhelmed by these costs and may leave their children in hospital because they simply cannot afford the care they need.

These are not just medical challenges — they are human challenges.

Through our health camps, community outreach, preventive screening, early detection, treatment support and patient assistance, Dala Health Hub seeks to reach people before their conditions become critical and help vulnerable patients access the care they deserve.

No patient should have to deteriorate because they cannot afford care. No family should have to choose between their child's health and their ability to pay a hospital bill.

Prevent · Detect · Treat · Care

Vision

To create healthier and more empowered communities where every vulnerable individual can access timely, quality healthcare and the support they need to live with dignity and hope.

Mission

To connect patients to appropriate healthcare services, promote preventive healthcare, and strengthen community health systems through partnerships and outreach.

What We Do

Six ways we show up for our community

01

Patient Referrals

We guide patients to the right facility and specialist — and make sure they get there, not just find the name.

02

Screening & Early Diagnosis

Community screening programs that catch disease at the earliest, most treatable stage.

03

Health Education

Awareness campaigns that give people the knowledge to seek care proactively, not only in crisis.

04

Specialised Care Access

Breaking down barriers to endoscopy, oncology, and other services that would otherwise be out of reach.

05

Partnerships

A network of hospitals, NGOs, and government bodies that multiplies what we can do together.

06

Advocacy

Giving underserved communities a voice — pushing for better policy, resources, and systems that actually work.

Our Impact

Community trust, built one patient at a time

Illness can affect far more than the person who is sick. Behind every patient is someone who loves them, depends on them, cares for them, or hopes to see them recover. For vulnerable families, illness can mean a child missing school, a parent being unable to work, a family struggling to afford care, or a loved one facing serious illness without the support they deserve.
